Moving up in the universe!
After we have closed up the chapter of life in a C1 we took everything we learned about living in a wormhole and settled in a C2. Here is how it went...
WHITE DWARF ANCHORING

White Dwarf began to anchor as of 3.5.22 at 15:00 EVE time. That means in 24 hours WD will be anchored in our C2. However it will not be completely anchored until we insert the core and it goes through its 15 minutes repair time. This is the most vulnerable time for this structure! We request any pilots who can log on at this time please do so to help protect this structure as it completes it cycle.
Also please be mindful of the openings that appear in our C2 during this 24 hour period. Closing all unnecessary entrances will be of paramount importance as to limit the access to the WH for possible attackers. As we approach the set up time even the static holes will be closed and not reopened until after the set up is complete.
Once setups complete we will be moving all scientific and construction modules to White Dwarf. So please do not start any industrial or scientific jobs that will go past set up time for WD tomorrow. Crows Nest will only have cloning available after this time, though we may add ore refinery at a later date.
Here is hoping for a successful setup and another step to make this WH our permanent home.
WHITE DWARF DESTROYED!
Despite our best effort to insure a safe and secure environment for White Dwarf to complete it's anchor cycle, several Purifiers from Goonswarm managed to gain access to our space and destroy our structure. The purifiers were spotted moments before White Dwarf entered it's final cycle by several pilots patrolling the area. Because of their work we were not caught unaware by the attack and were able to secure the core and modules before placing them in White Dwarf. This swift action saved almost a billion in ISK from destruction and plunder. While the lose of White Dwarf is tragic, the amount lost was minimal considering what could have been destroyed and taken if not been for our pilots alert vigil and awareness.
Goonswarm did meet stiff resistance from our pilots as well, who heeded the call to support the anchoring of White Dwarf. While the speed and size of the Purifiers stymied our effort to secure the area

and disrupt their attack, we did manage to destroye three of their ships without a single ship lost. The entire corp should be proud of they way they worked together and we will be better prepared next time by the lessons learned here today.

Despite the loss of White Dwarf today, we do consider this day a success. With the loss of White Dwarf came valuable lessons we can use in future combat situations. Even now we are preparing for the next setup with better ships and plans in place. While nothing is certain or foolproof, nothing can beat experience when it comes to learning to deal with adversity.
The next attempt will take place this weekend, between 20:00 to 23:00 hours EVE time on Saturday. we will begin the setup on Friday and complete it on Saturday, Again we would like to see the same effort from our pilots that we saw today. If we do, we have no doubt we shall see a successful attempt at putting up a new structure for all to use.
Our thanks to our pilots who made a valiant effort today to keep our home safe and secure. We owe you our gratitude and thanks for your effort at beating back our attackers and look forward to making the next group of pilots to attack us pay dearly. Salute!
INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX UP AND RUNNING

After a failed attempt a week ago, The Confederacy of Travellers was successful in setting up a Raitaru in our home system. Affectionately named "Bob the Builder" it will be the hub for industry and scientific endeavors for our pilots. At this time invention and construction are available in BoB and research will be coming shortly as we transfer the module from Crows Nest to BoB.
Please be aware that we are discontinuing manufacturing and research in Crow's Nest as of Saturday, March 19th. This means any jobs that are scheduled to end after that time period will be aborted early as we remove the modules from from Crow's Nest. We will be installing a processing module in Crow's Nest for compression and processing ores and ice. This will be a basic processing module as the structure does not supply any bonuses and no rigs will be installed to enhance the module.
We still plan on adding a refinery in the wormhole as well, which will not only provide bonuses for processing, but will also provide gas refinery as well. Moon mining may also be activated, but our main concern is processing as the refinery
offers bonuses for ore, ice and gas processing. There is no set timeline for the installation of the refinery, but we hope to have it in place before the beginning of Q3.
The corporation would like to thank everyone who showed up to support the installation of BoB. We had 8 pilots in the area to support our efforts, and luckily their defense were not needed. While this show of force was welcomed, it also emphasize the need for more active corp pilots. The Confederacy is listed as having 153 pilots enrolled, yet we only managed to have 8 show up during a crucial event. That is a 5% participation rate, which would be disastrous in a more active and combative situation.
So our next project will be to actively recruit new and experienced pilots. We will also introduce incentive programs to get everyone involved in the recruiting process and hopefully everyone will have a chance to add to our roster. After all, an active corp is a safe and productive corp. More details to follow.
SO NOW WHAT?...
As everyone should know by now, we lost our C2 J103339 to a large contingency of ships and structures Mgla Corporation. While the lose is a major blow to the corporation, at least it was an eviction with cause, as the Mgla corp has moved in and taken over. As a corp we would rather be defeated by a corp taking and using our space than just be destroyed "because".
The corp still retains a presence in wh space however, as the Krusty Krab is still up and operational in the C2 J172551. It is a simple Astrahus that has a single clone bay active. There are no plans to expand this base as the static C4 connection is not ideal for solo combat and this system has been mainly used for PI.

Currently the corp is at its lowest activity since the beginning of the corp itself, which is not surprising. With the loss of our main system, combined with the inactivity of many previously active corp members, myself included, the corp is hanging on by a thread. While the corp is still here, it is no longer a viably active corp. While there are no plans to disband the corp at this time, we are also not promising that we will increase activity or our numbers in the near future.
On a personal note, I would like to apologize for my lack of communication and activity within the EVE universe. This has been due to many RL circumstances, along with the time of year. Typically summer has always been a sporadic time for me when it comes to EVE. Summer school, outdoor activities and fireworks usually keeps me pretty busy. I am usually more active when school starts due to the nature of my job, which allowed me to log in and play while I work. That will change this year, though, as I have retired from my previous job and have accepted a position as a kindergarten teacher with a private school. While I have no plans to leave EVE, I will not be able to be as active as I was before, logging on occasionally to make sure KK is fueled, tend to my PI, and run the occasional mission or site. During the fall and winter months I will probably become a bit more active, but it will never be as active as it was before my change of job. I am truly sorry for those who have joined the corp in hopes of finding a home in EVE with active players and an attentive CEO. Perhaps when I truly retire I will be a more active participant in the EVE universe but for now I will have to settle with being a part time pilot, and an absentee CEO.
